Pudding Sauce

Another handwritten recipe, but not by Aunt June.

1 cup water
1/2 (heap) cup sugar
1 rounded Tbsp. flour
1 scant Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. brandy or wine

Mix sugar and flour thoroughly, add water and boil few minutes then add butter and boil through until butter is melted through. Take from fire and add brandy.
