More Balboa PTA Recipes From the '60s
Twenty-four Hour Salad
- 3 eggs (beaten)
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 cups marshmallows (quartered)
- Strawberries to garnish
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 2 cups pineapple (cubed)
- 1 can white cherries (#2 can, drained)
- 2 cups fresh orange sections
Combine eggs, sugar, juice, and butter in double boiler and cook until thick. Cool. Combine other ingredients except strawberries. Let stand 24 hours. Garnish with strawberries.
