More Balboa PTA Recipes From the '60s
Barbecued Ground Beef
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup onions (finely chopped)
- 1 cup peppers (finely chopped)
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 cup catsup
- 2 Tbsp. mustard
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cloves
Brown meat slowly until crumbly, but not hard. Combine remaining ingredients and add to meat. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes. Serve on toasted split bun.
