Cabbage-Bell Pepper


Arrange shredded cabbage in kettle. Cover with thin sliced pepper and onion. Put 2 or 3 rounded or heaping tsp. of bacon grease on top of this mixture. Add a little water and bring to boil. Let simmer until real tender. After it has cooked down somewhat stir all together. Simmer 1 to 1½ hours.
