More Balboa PTA Recipes From the '60s
Chinese Noodle Dish
- 1 can Chinese noodles
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 can water chestnuts (optional)
- 1 can bamboo shoots (optional)
- 25 cent pkg. cashew nuts (unsalted)
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 stalks celery (chopped)
Combine ingredients in casserole dish, saving some noodles for the top. Bake for 40 minutes in 325°F oven, uncovered. One can each water chestnuts and bamboo shoots may be added.
