Buttered Pasta

I created this recipe when I was single and cooking for one.  It's similar to "white spaghetti" served in Italian restaurants. Makes 1 serving.

Cook pasta and drain, according to directions.

Meanwhile, melt butter in small skillet; add garlic and cook over medium-low heat until tender. Keep hot while pasta cooks but don't allow to burn.

Place hot pasta on plate or bowl; pour butter and garlic over pasta, stir to blend. Immediately sprinkle with cheese to melt.
