Sometimes called "no-bake", sometimes called "stove-top"... whatever they are, they're delicious! This version is from Ruth Ann at Gail's Recipe Swap; she calls it "The BEST Stove-Top Chocolate Cookies" and says that everyone who has tasted them agrees. I took them to work one day, and they went fast.
Mix sugar, butter, milk, salt and cocoa in a Dutch oven or other large pan. Bring to a rolling boil; boil exactly 2 minutes (watch carefully!!).
Quickly add vanilla, peanut butter, and oats.
Drop by tablespoonsful onto waxed paper.
