Fried Chicken

Jim wrote this recipe on a card that's now covered with grease stains. It was his mom's recipe for many years before that.

Mix flour and seasonings in a shake-and-bake type bag. Shake chicken in mixture. Put 1/2 inch vegetable oil in electric fry pan. Put coated chicken in pan with pan cold. Turn pan on to 350°F and when chicken is cooking with a loud sizzle, put cover on and cook for 15 minutes. Remove cover, turn chicken, and cook uncovered for 10 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
