Bloom time: Everblooming in our climate; continues to profusely bloom through winter.
Scent: Light sweet scent
Sun/shade: Does well in mostly sun, and also part sun in winter. Since this is the first year since it was planted last fall, I'll see how it does in the heat of our summer. Supposedly, the hybrids are more tolerant of summer heat.
Moisture: Likes regular water. It thrived and heavily bloomed in winter in a spot with morning sun, bright afternoon shade, and consistently damp, heavily mulched soil.
Conditions: Part sun in moist, well-amended clay soil. In spring 2003, I planted several more in a very sunny spot in rich, well-amended clay soil; I'll report how those do later this year.
Other comments: Very pretty lavender flowers are profuse and look great at the edge of the garden or trailing over the edge of a pot. Lavender and light yellow are a perfect color contrast. Good companions include plants that bloom in purple and yellow (not golden yellow), such as purple Salvia coahuilensis and the yellow Daylily 'Happy Returns' (be sure to arrange these plants so that the Salvia gets less water than the Nemesia -- I have the Salvia planted at the top of a short slope with Nemesia planted below it; I give the Nemesia extra local irrigation but only occasionally to the Salvia). Adding white as an accent would make this an even more beautiful combination.
