Sun/shade: Part shade, protect from all-day hot sun.
Moisture: Moderate to regular water; tolerates drought.
Problems: Growth is a little spindly
Purchased: Spring 2002 at the annual Geranium sale at Descanso Gardens in La Canada, CA.
Planted: Soon after purchase, in a pot. Re-planted again in March 2003.
Conditions: Growing in a pot in a protected south-western exposure with part sun.
Other comments: Leaves have a distinctive yellow center which, combined with the bright red flowers, makes a very colorful plant. Growth was a little spindly at first so I thought it would be best in a pot with a trellis, where it can trail over the edge and also climb the trellis.
