Other comments: Blush Noisette is believed to be a seedling of 'Champneys' Pink Cluster (Rosa moschata x Rosa chinensis 'Old Blush') and raised from a seedling by nurseryman Louis Noisette of Paris. The seedling was named 'Blush Noisette' and introduced about 1817. Long arching canes several feet long are lax and form a large free-standing shrub or climber (we grow it as a shrub). Large clusters of blooms have a wonderful scent. This very easy care, old garden rose takes some shade.
