In addition to gardening and cooking (well, mostly gardening), there's a whole lot of other stuff we do.
Jim is retired. He's a car guy. He loves cars -- driving them, looking at them, reading about them, thinking about them, talking about them, hearing about them, dreaming about them, watching them race around a track, and, of course, buying them. He's also involved in amateur radio and enjoys vegetable gardening. He's very resourceful and handy -- I think he could fix or build anything. He does the painting, fixing, lifting, hauling, and other manly-man stuff around the house. And on top of all that, he's a really good cook! And he also loves his kids! I work full time and when I'm not doing that, I'm usually in the garden. I taught myself HTML and elements of web site design, and I designed, wrote, and maintain this site. I also enjoy genealogy and crafts, especially cross-stitching. I'm planning a few quilts to make and I used to do a lot of sewing when I was younger. Sometimes, when I remember, I play the piano. I mostly enjoy homemaking and being creative inside the house or out in the garden. Read more about the stuff I do including web sites I enjoy visiting.
In addition to those hobbies, we enjoy spending time with family -- especially our two grandsons, Eric and Matthew. They are the light of our lives. We're also involved in the never-ending process of re-decorating and re-landscaping our home, and we enjoy traveling whenever we get the chance.
