Amateur Radio
ARRL Home Page -- Home page of the American Radio Relay League
Amateur Radio Service -- A web site of the FCC with information about Amateur Radio services and licensing.
Auto Racing
NASCAR -- The NASCAR racing organization.
SCORE International -- Off-road racing.
Big Blue -- Jim's 1978 Ford Bronco, "Big Blue", is currently undergoing restoration. Sometimes he points to it and grunts "MY Bronco". These are the sites he visits for Bronco parts.
Bronco.com -- A source for information about the Ford Bronco.
Bronco Graveyard -- A source for Bronco parts.
Project Bronco -- Bills itself as "The #1 site dedicated to the preservation, restoration, modification, and collecting of 78-79 Broncos and late '70s Ford 4x4 trucks."
Cars -- In case I forgot to mention it, Jim loves cars.
Kelley Blue Book -- The web site of the Kelley Blue Book official guide for used car values and new car pricing.
Auto Week -- The on-line version of the magazine -- one of several car magazines Jim reads.
Motor Trend -- The on-line version of yet another car magazine Jim reads.
Road and Track -- You guessed it -- the on-line version of yet another car magazine Jim reads!
Manly-man Chores -- As I previously mentioned, Jim does the manly stuff around the house... hauling, lifting, building, painting, fixing, disposing of cute little (and big) rats he finds here and there... and so much more! No wonder he's such a big, burly guy. And he really likes doing that stuff, so I guess it all fits under "Hobbies". Check out some pictures of the manly stuff he does, and you'll see why he's in such tip-top shape.
Vegetable Gardening -- Jim learned to plant and tend vegetable gardens while growing up in Ohio. There, the season ended in fall when the temperatures began to dip. Here, the season never ends!
Summer, 2002 -- Corn, tomatoes, bush beans, peas, radishes, and scallions.
Fall, 2002 -- Carrots, beets, and strawberries. Plus a few beans that self-sowed from the summer harvest.
Hemmings.com -- The web site of the Hemmings Motor News publication. Described as "the World's Largest Vehicle Enthusiast Site". Includes a neat search tool where you can search for a car by year, make and model.
Realtor.com -- The official website of the National Association of Realtors. Jim enjoys researching other places to live and then talking about how much cheaper home prices are everywhere else.
